Aidan Nichter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes (T1D) on Oct. 26th 2011, just 6 days before he turned 9.  Thanks to the love and support of his family, friends, and coaches Aidan is now a senior in high school and on the lax team with aspirations of becoming a doctor.  Thanks to JDRF and donors like you, Aidan is able to have the best equipment and technology available to him in order to best manage his T1D and excel in everything he does. 

The need for funding and supporting the T1D community has never been greater. COVID-19 has had a direct and devastating impact on our research. JDRF has funded virtually every major breakthrough in diabetes research and we cannot let these times set our progress back.
